E.Aasa Installation "Do You Even See Me?"2024
We live in a technological and digital world where communication between people takes place largely in electronic social networks. It seems that there is less time to find time for face-to-face communication and commitment to another person, which is why people distance themselves from each other, becoming more and more self-centered. With my work, I try to draw attention to this phenomenon and invite people to think about empathy. We could devote more time and spend time communicating with each other. In face-to-face communication and conversations, we learn to understand each other better, making the world around us more humane and peaceful.
